If you like to travel and like to party, or have a big birthday coming up, then Las Vegas can be a great destination. It is classed as ‘sin city’ or the ‘entertainment capital of the world,’ which means it is a place like no other. There is glitz, glamour, and there are non-stop things to do, even if you don’t have any interest in gambling. But as there is so much to do, you need to make sure that you can get the most out of the trip. So here are some of the things that you need to do and see.

Culture and Art

If you like to see a variety of different things on your travels, then one of the best things to do is to go and experience some beautiful works of art at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, found at the Bellagio Hotel, funnily enough. There are different exhibitions to see, and a range of fine art and modern art. If you want something else, then it can be a good idea to go to the Mandalay Bay Aquarium, where there are over 2,000 aquatic animals to see, from over 100 different species.

Explore Outdoors

The state of Nevada is large, and other than a few large cities like Las Vegas, then there is a lot of the outdoors to explore. You don’t have to party in Vegas if you don’t want to. There are places to visit like the Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, which is full of trails and paths to hike and explore. There are zip lines in the old part of Vegas, and the world famous Hoover Dam is only a short drive away. If you were feeling extra fancy then the Grand Canyon isn’t far away either, and there are helicopter tours that you can take right from the Strip.

Check Out the Nightlife

You can’t go too far in Las Vegas without experiencing some of the nightlife. No matter what the day of the week, there will be something going on. You could see some of the resident shows, with the likes of Britney Spears, and so on, or head to one of the city’s nightclubs. There are plenty to choose from, and they don’t have to be hotel clubs; Omnia nightclub is a hot destination, for example. But Caesars Palace and Mandalay Bay have some well rated clubs too.

See What Is Free

There can be a quite a few things in Las Vegas that can cost a lot of money. But there are plenty of free things to do in the city, to help you to get the most of it. The famous MGM logo of lions is brought to life with some lions in the hotel, which are free to see. There are shows in hotels like Circus Circus, and you can go up in the elevator in the Stratosphere Hotel without needing to pay (though you’ll need to pay for the rides at the top if you want to go on one).
