Brazil is the largest country in the South America. The country stretches over more than half of the continent and includes various rainforest and coastlines. Amazon River

Brazil has the magnificent amazon river that runs through the enormous Amazon Rain forest which itself is a famous tourist destination in Brazil. The river is the second largest river in the world after River Nile with the length of 64000 km. it is also the largest river by volume in the world. The basin of the river is surrounded by rainforest and inhabits about 10 million of the worldÕs species out of which 3 million species of fishes are inhabited in the Amazon River. The glory of the river is unspeakable. One must visit it when in Brazil to get the breath taking view that it offers and the large bio diversity.

Christo Redentor

The famous statue of Jesus Christ is located on the top of the Carcovado Mountain in Brazil. The statue is located at the height of 2300 ft. and can be viewed from nay corner of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The statue is about 39.6 meters tall and includes a 9.5m pedestal. The mountain on which the statue is located is part of the Tijuca National Park. The park offers a lot of waterfalls, springs and natural beauty to the tourists along with the diversity of birds and butterflies. The great statue of Christ was created by the Polish-French sculptor Paul Landowski and a Brazilian engineer Heitor da Silva Costa.

Historic Center of Olinda

Olinda is one of the colonial cities of Brazil that is located in the Northeast coast of the country. The city is filled with colorful and vibrant sceneries that are worth the visit. The breath taking views of the North Atlantic coast from the city mesmerize the heart and soul of the visitor. The streets of the city are lined with white houses with red roofs that go perfectly with the blues of the Atlantic Coast.

Iguacu Falls

The country holds one of the natural wonders of the world. The waterfalls are situated between the border of Brazil and Argentina. There are about 275 falls that run along the River Iguacu. The best of all the falls in the Devils Throat that is U shaped and is about 82 meters long. The falls can be viewed from Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.

Brazil is the country of carnivals. You will find a carnival in very city but the best of all the carnivals is the majestic carnival of Rio de Janeiro. The carnival attracts about 2 million people every day and about 4 million foreigners on its 4th day. The carnival spreads through the whole city including the streets, the bars, the squares and other destinations.
