London is awash with fun activities. In fact, you could head here for a few months and you still would not be able to cover everything. 1. London Eye

When it comes to things to do in London today, this one needs to be at the top of the pile. On the London Eye, you will experience some of the most breathtaking sights over the city. Make sure you bring your camera to the top, the thirty-minute trip is going to be one of the most beautiful experiences of your life.

2. Westminster

This is not strictly one attraction, it is just tons of attractions thrust into a small area and an epicenter of numerous London tours. In Westminster, you will be able to see the center of the United Kingdom’s government. This is home to the Houses of Parliament. It is home to Big Ben. It is home to Downing Street. This place has a lot of history and over the centuries it has had an impact on the way in which the world works.

3. Camden

If you love ‘people watching’, then Camden is a great place to head. Here, you will see people from all walks of life just wandering about, mingling with one another. Many people say that this is the ‘cultural hub’ of London. There are a few decent pubs in the area so you can knock back a beer or two. It is a great place to just relax.

4. Museums

One of the wonderful things about London is that almost all the museums in the capital are free. The best part is that some of the best museums in the world are here. You have the Science Museum, The Natural History Museum, the British Museum, Tate Modern etc. Basically, if you love your museums then you are going to have a lot of fun while you are staying in London!

5. Tower Bridge Experience

If you fancy scaring yourself a little bit, the Tower Bridge Experience is where you want to head. Here, you will venture deep into a plague pit. Hundreds of bodies were found here, all buried in the middle of the plague. Some say it is haunted. You will be chased around by hordes of monsters. Make sure you pack a spare pair of pants!
This place is not going to be for children. If you have children in tow, then you may want to opt for the less-scary London Dungeon.

6. Thames Cruise

A lot of the best sights in London are along the riverbank. If you really want to take in the sheer size of London and see some beautiful, historical buildings along the way, then a Thames Cruise would be an awesome idea!

7. Buckingham Palace

How can you visit London without touching British Monarchy? You can book tickets to Buckingham Palace Tour and visit 775 rooms, Grand Staircase, Throne Room or also visit gardens.
