Delve into the surrealistic world of Salvador Dalí, one of the most ingenious and eccentric artists of the 20th century.

“Dalí – Die Ausstellung am Potsdamer Platz” (“Dalí – The Exhibition at Potsdamer Platz”) allows visitors for the first time with more than 450 original exhibits from private collections worldwide, the most extensive insight into Dalí’s virtuoso and experimental mastery in almost all techniques of art directly in the pulsating center of Berlin. “COME INTO MY BRAIN”, Salvador Dalí himself once called upon his audience.

The museum shows in the permanent exhibition in particular the works, which are distinguished by the paranoiac-critical approach that honored Dalí as a surrealist. Works in which he shot with muskets on massive lithostones and so invented the Bulletism or artworks where he set off nail-filled bombs or drove a steamroller over a sewing machine.

To facilitate the visitors the way into this fascinating world, the so-called Dalí_Scouts are available to guide visitors dialogue-oriented through the exhibition in public guided tours which are held almost hourly.

Great museum for a great artist
we have visited the museum yesturday after a business meeting next door at the grand hyatt and joined the hourely starting public guided tours. This was possible because the museum is privatly run and opens daily until 8 pm. After the tour we had a lot of fantastic background informations and enough time to discover Dalís surrealistic world on our own.
Back in the hotel we enjoyed our discussion about Dalís life and art during the dinner with the best sushi in town at the vox retsaurant. Me and my colleagues highly recommend a guided tour of this Dali Museum to explore this numerous collection.
